Two residents of Tudela, Misamis Occidental yielded prohibited
drugs and paraphernalia in a checkpoint January 15, at National Highway.
The suspects were identified as Jose Olarte, 31 of Barangay
Barra, Tudela, Misamis Occidental and Filmor Tamayo, 24 of Barangay Centru Napu.
The suspects were riding a motorcycle driven by Olarte
entering the town of Tudela when flagged down by police personnel.
Police senior inspector Cerilo Verano, Tudela police
director said confiscated from the suspects were 3 rectangular sachets of shabu
and 4 aluminum foils.
The motorcycle driven by Olarte was also confiscated by
police authorities.
The suspects were detained at Tudela PNP jail and will be
charged with violation RA 9165.
